Health Affairs: Does The Rural-Urban Frame Help Explain Health Status?

A misplaced focus on the rural-urban divide overlooks the shared experience between those who suffer poor health and adverse economic circumstances, regardless of where they reside. Poor health is long-known story of race and socioeconomic status. With these challenges, rural and urban places are not so far apart.
